User Agreement

This agreement is between Find Native Sensei.com (hereafter, Find Native Sensei) and teachers who post their teaching profile in the Find Native Sensei.com system (hereafter, Language Teacher) and covers Find Native Sensei's teacher-student matching service(hereafter, the Service):

1. About the Service
  1. The Service helps Language Teachers find students by hosting their language profile on the internet.
  2. The Service's main goal is to improve the quality and affordability of language training in Japan.
  3. The Service is intended for and limited to current residents of Japan.
  4. The Service can only be used by Language Teachers who have fully read and agreed to this text.
2. Language Teacher Eligibility
  1. Language Teachers must provide Find Native Sensei.com with correct information during registration.
  2. Language Teachers must only teach their native languages or non-native languages in which they have recieved teacher training for and are fully qualified to teach.
  3. Language Teachers must be a legal resident of Japan. i.e. Language Teachers must have a valid passport/visa and alien registration card (or permanent residence card) or possess Japanese nationality.
  4. Language Teacher's visa/permit should allow him/her to engage in part-time work in Japan.
  5. Language Teachers with a student visa must have an extra permit from Immigration Office for part-time work.
3. Purpose of Membership
  1. The service must only be used by Language Teachers who seriously and genuinely want to find students in Japan.
  2. Teachers may not use the Service for any purpose other than finding students for their personal language classes.
4. Service Charge and Lesson Fees
  1. Find Native Sensei.com does not charge Language Teachers for using the Service.
  2. Teachers are not in any way whatsoever employed by Find Native Sensei.com.
  3. Teachers receive payment directly from the student at the end of every lesson.
  4. There must be NO discrepancy between the price displayed on a teaching profile and the actual amount charged.
  5. Teachers must update their teaching profile and give their students notice if they choose to change their lesson fees or any other additional fees.
5. Language Teacher's Information
  1. All information in a Language Teacher's profile can be displayed on Find Native Sensei.com online service, except for a teacher's last name, address, phone number and e-mail address.
  2. A Language Teacher's e-mail address and last name are given to students who purchase their contact information in order to receive language classes.
  3. A Language Teacher's phone number may also be given to the students if he/she has allowed it in the profile.
6. Language Teacher responsibilities
  1. Language Teachers are responsible for any of the following work-related matters resulting from teaching: tax, insurance, superannuation etc.
  2. Language Teachers must treat their students with respect and abide by any agreements between the teacher and the student.
  3. Language Teachers are responsible for the password that is issued when their membership is approved.
  4. Language Teachers must not put their contact information (email, telephone, etc.) on their profiles.
7. Find Native Sensei's responsibilitise
  1. Find Native Sensei.com helps teachers find their own students by presenting thier teaching profile to potential students on the internet.
  2. Find Native Sensei.com may not disclose a Language Teachers' private information (last name, email address and telephone number) to anyone other than paid customers with a stated desire to take language classes, unless being abided by Japanese or International law.
  3. Find Native Sensei.com is not responsible for any damage, loss, dispute, or other problems that might have been caused by use of the Service.
8. Find Native Sensei's Rights
  1. Find Native Sensei.com reserves the right to edit or delete a Language Teacher's profile if false information, contact information or inappropriate statements are detected.
  2. Find Native Sensei.com holds the right to refuse a teacher's registration request or terminate their membership without notice.
  3. Find Native Sensei.com has the right to display a teaching profile, except for teacher's last name, address, phone number and e-mail address.
  4. Find Native Sensei.com is authorized to provide government institutions with all necessary Language Teacher information in any of the following cases: harassment, crimes, illegal activities, etc.
  5. Find Native Sensei.com holds the right to remove a Language Teacher profile in case of any reported trouble with students.
  6. Find Native Sensei.com reserves the right to change the contents of this agreement without prior notice and however deemed necessary.The modified agreement terms become effective from the day is has been posted on the Find Native Sensei.com website.
9. Security and Privacy
  1. Language Teachers must not disclose their ID and password to anyone.
  2. Language Teachers must not provide false or misleading information under any circumstances.
  3. All supplied content such as text, graphics programs, or other materials used at the Find Native Sensei.com website are the property of Find Native Sensei.com. Language Teachers cannot use any of those materials without the written consent of Find Native Sensei.com.
10. Membership Termination
  1. Language Teachers can remove their teaching profile at any time from the member's page, however, Find Native Sensei.com is authorized to give teachers' contact information to students up to four weeks after the removal of the teaching profile.
